contemplating the futility of ruminating about past hurts, past mistakes, past broken promises and myriad “what if” scenarios…yes, i realize i just stated that i’m thinking about the pointlessness of thinking about the past…sometimes being succinct is so boring…though being conceptually redundant can be tiresome too…[re-posted from my facebook account…]

    It’s hard not to dwell on things like that. Sometimes thoughts just keep circling around and around, like bubbles in a sink spiraling closer and closer to the drain.

    Eventually there comes a time when you can truly let go of those thoughts. “Let go” is an important concept, I’ve discovered.
